라즈베리파이4B pifmPlay (FM라디오) 안되는이유

라즈베리파이로 FM 라디오 송신이 가능하다길래 시도해봤는데, 안되는겁니다.

뭐지 하면서 해외 포럼을 찾아봤더니...

 

This will not work with a RPI4, as the raspberry PI foundation realised that PIFM will (also) transmit on military and avionic frequencies,

because it emits a square wave signal which contains very many harmonics (multiples of the base frequency).

So you CANNOT AVOID transmitting on unwanted frequencies. This can get you in trouble with the authorities!

So the Raspberry PI foundation removed the hardware from later RPI chips (System on a chip or SoC chips) used in RPI4 and later PI's!  SO DON'T USE a Raspberry PI FM transmitter!

라즈베리파이 재단에서 라즈베리파이로 fm을 송신하는게 군용 및 항공용 주파수에서 전송한다는 것을 깨달았고 매우 많은 고조파를 포함하는 구형파를 방출하는 등의 원인을 문제삼아 라즈베리파이 재단에서 라베파4 부터 사용되는 

시스템 칩셋에 해당 하드웨어를 제거했다고 합니다.
